Peristiwa tersebut dilaporkan terjadi pada Sabtu (25\/4\/2026) petang, setelah korban yang merupakan bagian dari rombongan 13 pendaki asal Desa Jegu dilaporkan belum kembali ke titik kumpul di Pura Jatiluwih hingga malam hari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kronologi bermula saat korban bersama saksi Wayan Nesa Aryana (74) dan dua rekan lainnya memutuskan turun lebih awal karena faktor fisik, sementara rombongan inti melanjutkan ke puncak. Di tengah perjalanan turun sekitar pukul 18.00 Wita, korban sempat mendahului saksi namun tidak pernah terlihat lagi hingga seluruh anggota rombongan tiba di pos bawah pada pukul 20.15 Wita. Hilangnya korban memicu kekhawatiran mengingat medan pendakian yang menantang dan kondisi usia korban yang sudah lanjut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut, personel Polsek Selemadeg segera mendatangi Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) untuk melakukan olah informasi dan menginterogasi para saksi guna memetakan koordinat terakhir korban. Pihak Kepolisian juga langsung membangun komunikasi intensif dengan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Tabanan untuk menyusun strategi pencarian darurat di area hutan lindung Gunung Batukaru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seijin Kapolres Tabanan AKBP I Putu Bayu Pati, S.I.K., M.H., melalui Kapolsek Selemadeg Kompol I Made Subadi, S.H., menegaskan bahwa, keselamatan warga adalah prioritas utama dan pencarian akan dilakukan secara optimal. &#8220;Kami telah berkoordinasi dengan BPBD dan menyiapkan relawan pemandu lokal untuk segera menyisir jalur pendakian. Mengingat kondisi medan yang gelap dan cuaca di pegunungan, operasi pencarian teknis akan dimaksimalkan dengan tetap mengedepankan keamanan tim di lapangan,&#8221; tegas
