Salah satunya melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan personel Polsek Muara Pawan kepada masyarakat di wilayah hukumnya (13\/07\/2026).<br><br>Dalam kegiatan tersebut, personel Polsek Muara Pawan menyampaikan edukasi kepada warga mengenai bahaya karhutla, baik terhadap kesehatan, lingkungan, maupun aktivitas masyarakat. Warga juga diimbau untuk tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar serta lebih peduli terhadap potensi kebakaran, terutama saat cuaca panas dan memasuki musim kemarau.<br><br>Selain memberikan imbauan secara langsung, personel juga mengajak masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menjaga lingkungan dengan segera melaporkan apabila menemukan titik api maupun aktivitas yang berpotensi menimbulkan kebakaran. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat penanganan sehingga kebakaran tidak meluas.<br><br>Kapolres Ketapang AKBP Muhammad Harris, S.H., S.I.K., M.I.K., CPHR., melalui Kapolsek Muara Pawan&nbsp; IPDA Eko Astower S.E. mengatakan bahwa sosialisasi merupakan salah satu langkah preventif yang rutin dilakukan guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya mencegah karhutla.<br><br>&#8220;Karhutla bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab aparat, tetapi membutuhkan peran aktif seluruh elemen masyarakat. Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar dan segera melaporkan apabila melihat adanya titik api agar dapat ditangani sedini mungkin,&#8221; ujarnya.<br><br>Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, diharapkan terjalin sinergi yang kuat antara Polri dan masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan tetap aman dari ancaman kebakaran hutan dan lahan, sehingga situasi kamtibmas di
