Kegiatan berlangsung di halaman Rutan Salatiga mulai pukul 07.30 WIB dan diikuti oleh seluruh pejabat struktural serta petugas Rutan Salatiga.<br><br>Upacara berlangsung khidmat dengan rangkaian kegiatan meliputi pengibaran Bendera Merah Putih, pembacaan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, serta pembacaan teks Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.<br><br>Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Akbar Febri selaku Inspektur Upacara membacakan amanat Menteri Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan Republik Indonesia. Dalam amanat tersebut disampaikan bahwa kemerdekaan harus diisi dengan kerja nyata, khususnya oleh seluruh jajaran Kementerian Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan.<br><br>\u201cKemerdekaan harus diisi dengan kerja nyata. Bagi jajaran Kementerian Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan, bentuknya adalah menjaga keamanan negara, memberikan pelayanan terbaik, membina Warga Binaan secara manusiawi, bekerja berintegritas, memanfaatkan teknologi, dan memperkuat kolaborasi untuk mewujudkan Indonesia yang berdaulat, adil, dan makmur,\u201d demikian amanat yang dibacakan.<br><br>Peringatan HUT ke-81 Kemerdekaan RI menjadi momentum bagi seluruh jajaran Rutan Salatiga untuk terus meningkatkan semangat pengabdian, menjaga integritas, memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat, serta melaksanakan tugas pemasyarakatan secara profesional dan berperikemanusiaan.<br><br>Upacara kemudian diakhiri dengan sesi foto bersama seluruh jajaran Rutan Kelas IIB Salatiga sebagai bentuk kebersamaan dan semangat dalam mengisi kemerdekaan
